Paramount wanted excitement and awareness amongst Metro readers for the much anticipated comic book film ‘The Watchmen’.
A Coverwrap was designed to look like the Watchmen’s ‘New Frontiersman’ briefing the plotline and characters of the film and comic book. This in-paper activity was supported by Watchmen branded distribution racks and specially designed Watchmen stickers given out with the Metro.
As well as targeting a new audience, the advert served to educate Metro readers about the film. 46% of people said they read all or most of the advert which demonstrates real engagement with the advert amongst our readers.
