

For the high profile launch of 20th Century Fox’s AVATAR, the Metro team were given a very specific task; to communicate big, bold impact (in keeping with the profile of the movie) but more importantly to deliver the more in-depth story about the movie which would go one step further than a trailer or poster.
Working closely with 20th Century Fox, Metro produced and distributed a limited edition 12 page AVATAR glossy booklet across 8 countries in Europe, South American and Asia, which was supported with front cover and outside back cover in-paper activity.
By delivering a much deeper communication about the AVATAR story directly into readers hands, Metro helped push readers into making their decision to go and see the movie and in turn helped AVATAR on it’s way to hitting $1bn at the global box office; the fastest movie in history to do so!
