2006 THIRD QUARTER RESULTS CONFERENCE CALL

Metro International S.A., the international newspaper group, will announce its financial results for the third quarter ended 30 September 2006 on Tuesday, 24 October 2006 at 1:00 pm (CET). The company will host a conference call to present the results at 3:00 pm (CET) / 2:00 PM (UK) and 9:00 am (EST).  The call will also be webcast in 'listen-only' mode on Metro's website at www.metro.lu.
