Metropolitan Report takes prize in Silver Sabre Awards 2012

Metro International newspapers today announced that its global research project “The Metropolitan Report”, produced in partnership with insight agency United Minds, was announced a winner in the Silver Sabre Award 2012.

The Metropolitan Report, a global study on the lifestyles and values of city-dwellers, won the External Publication category. The Metropolitan Report succeeded in identifying an urban mindset that connects city-dwellers all over the world. In 2011, The Metropolitan Report was also awarded the Swedish Publishing Prize in the Report category.

The Sabre Awards is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious PR competitions. It awards campaigns that best demonstrate the highest level of strategic planning, creativity and business results.

The judges are drawn from the most senior ranks of PR agencies both from the client and the media agency perspective. SABRE stands for Superior Achievement in Branding and Reputation.
