Metro has its headquarter in Stockholm, a global editorial office in London, and all our local editions are spread across the globe. The Global Headquarter manages corporate matters, such as strategy for expansion and franchising. In London a new kind of news service is being born, where the unique content from Metro’s more than 150 cities is mixed with the global outlook. The combined effort of Metro’s global online team and our global editorial staff creates Metro World News.

Being a truly global and decentralized company, the day-to-day running of Metro’s edition is delegated to our local offices. The local market conditions in each country makes the situation for our local editions and in each city unique. The Metro culture creates the strong framework, making it possible for each country to handle their relevant decisions while still having the right course.“
